Description

This is the Xikar XO Redwood — a round double guillotine cutter with a planetary gear blade system.

Why choose the Xikar XO Cutter

The XO’s two stainless blades run on a planetary gear system, so they open and close together and always meet in the center. That gives a guided, clean cut every time. The round aluminum body is tough, fits the hand well, and locks closed so it is safe in a pocket.

Key features

Double guillotine with synchronized planetary gear
Stainless steel blades
64 ring gauge opening, cuts up to 70 ring gauge
Locks closed for safe carry
Round aluminum body, about 2.38″ diameter x 0.6″ thick
Xikar limited lifetime warranty

Best for

Smokers of large ring gauge cigars who want a cutter that always cuts straight.

Care tips

Wipe the blades with a soft cloth after use to remove tobacco oil. A drop of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab cleans sticky blades. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Cut quickly and firmly — a slow cut is what tears wrappers.
