Description

This is the XIKAR® EX Windproof Gunmetal — a hybrid soft and windproof flame lighter with a protective case.

Why choose the Xikar EX Windproof Lighter

The EX gives a hybrid flame: soft enough to toast a cigar, but windproof outdoors. A tough case protects the burner, so it handles daily use.

Key features

Hybrid flame: soft and windproof
Durable protective case
Altitude tested to 12,000 ft
Xikar limited lifetime warranty

Best for

Smokers who are outside a lot and want one lighter that works in the wind.

Care tips

Fill it with clean, quality butane. Before the first fill, bleed out any air with a small tool on the valve. After filling, wait 2–3 minutes so the gas can settle to room temperature before you light it. If the flame gets weak or sputters, purge the tank and refill. Our lighter troubleshooting guide covers the most common problems.
